(November 2006) This is the best public school in Chino! The administration is caring and has great follow through. The teachers are caring and strive for excellence from each student, The pfa is very active and provides many great events. Including a family night and mother/daughter and father/son nights. If a family environment and attention to education is what you want for your child, This is the school for you. My kids have attended 3 other schools in the CVUSD due to moves and they will not attend another. This is the best school in town! The school also is in the process of becoming a International Baccalaureate school which allows our children an opportunity in education they can't get anywhere else in the district. I am lucky my kids attend such a wonderful school. I would highly recommend this school to anyone and everyone!

(April 2004) We have been more than pleased with This school. We pulled our son out of another Elementary school while in first grade. Mostly because the treatment of children is so much better at This school. Here's the biggest advantages I see at This school: Great Parent involvement, the children who are at This school belong to parents who care, the energy level of the Teachers is great (don't know why some parents would rather have an old teacher who is burnt out), the Teachers really care here (our son really loves his Teacher and we can tell she loves him). This school has saved our son. He will start 2nd grade next year and we are glad to say that our daughter will be starting kindergarten here next year. We drive 40 minutes each direction to take our son to This school. It is worth every minute.

(November 2006) My 4 children have been at this school for the two years and I am still impressed with the teachers, principal and vice-principal. It was a 'day & night' difference compared to their last school and district. Recently, the school has rolled out their new website intended to inform parents of the 'classroom news', upcoming events, homework assignments and communication between teachers and parents. Unfortunately, not too many teachers are updating their information on a daily basis and have nothing to offer which I believe is a reflection of that individual. I love that the principal and vice-principal are out directing traffic in the parking lot (both AM & PM)and walking the kids safely across the street. A job that could have easily been delegated to another staff but didn't. To me, actions speak louder than words!

(July 2006) I am grateful every single day that my children have an opportunity to attend Rhodes Elementary. The teachers are very dedicated and invested in every aspect of making the classroom and school great. Our kids get to experience things like gardening, dance team, track, plays and productions. Every year the kids get a week of enrichment classes offered on subjects like France, the rainforest, animation or flag twirling. The kids love this and the classes open up their world beyond the standard curriculum. Our Principal is a wonderful leader, sets high standards for staff, student and parent involvement. Her expectations are clear and the staff, students and parent community rise to meet them. We also have very dedicated and involved parents. It is nice to be involved and do your part to make school great for the kids when the leadership is solid and the goals clear.
